MembershipThe Nanaimo & Region Disability Resource Centre is a non-profit organization that is entirely membership driven. We are the only centre supporting disabled persons that is run by people living with disabilities. Our Board of Directors is comprised of at least 60% members with a disability, and our staff must always be at least 51% people living with a disability. It is through living the life of a consumer that we can offer directed support that is relevant and important to our consumers. As a non-profit organization, we are supported through the generous contributions of our members, our sponsors and through our own fundraising efforts.
